Megan Andrews PreBallet, PreBallet/Tumble, Ballet/Tap, Hip Hop
She started dancing at age 5 at the Dianne Cole Johnson School of Dance. She took
under Dianne Cole Johnson and Jo Miller. She stayed there and danced for 5 years
performing in annual recitals.
After that she performed for 10 years with an irish step dancing team at the Emerald
School of Irish Dance. There she took from Emily Touzen and Leslie Touzen Middleton.
She performed at many venues some of which include the Dubliner on St. Patrick's Day,
Texas State Fair, and annually at the North Texas Irish Festival. She also won
medals at the Austin Feis and the Loan Star State Feis.
She was a charter member of the dance company Moving Ground at Creekview High
School. There she performed at Brookhaven Community College, Collin County
Community College, and various community fairs and festivals. During this time
she also won many awards for dance as well as technical theater achievements.
She has achieved a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas with a
minor in dance. She took classes under Teresa Cooper, Dr. Mary Lynn Smith, Robin
Lakes, and Shelley Cushman.
Megan is married to her high school sweetheart Kayne and has a beautiful little
girl named Ivy.
