Ruthie DavisTap Instructor Ms. Ruthie has been dancing since she was two years old. She grew up in Plano and danced on drill teams of Shepton High School and Plano Senior High. She studied tap under Buster Cooper and ballet under Ann Etgen and Bill Atkinson. Ms. Ruthie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and is the mother of two children. She has recently joined the Rhythm Junkies, a non-profit performing tap group. Ms. Ruthie's dances were inspired by many master tappers with whom she studied this year, including Jason Janas, Tasha Lawson, Laurie Johnson, Debra Bray, Buster Cooper, and Jo Braley. Ms. Ruthie is celebrating her fourth year (since 2006) at TDM. |
