This well-rounded training led her to receive multiple scholarships/titles with opportunities to train under the industries leading teachers in L.A., Chicago, and NYC. She fell in love with ballet but due to injuries was never able to pursue a professional career in the field. Cristen then turned to musical theatre where she was hired right out of high school to perform with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She enjoyed a 6 year run with the Rockettes performing in both New York City and in tours across the US. She is also featured in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular DVD! Cristen’s other credits include choreography and performances for companies such as Sally Beauty Supply, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Chuck E. Cheese, DIFFA, and Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS in their annual conventions. She has also performed with many regional theatres in productions of Fame, Footloose, and Cinderella with the Joffery Ballet. Her favorite job has to be the many years she danced for Mary Kay where she met her husband. Cristen is also an accomplished vocalist in the style of classical, pop, and musical theater.
