Jonathan became interested in dancing at a age after being inspired by watching Michael Jackson videos. At the age of twenty-one, he began taking hip-hop and jazz classes offered at hisschool in Raymond, Mississippi where he achieved a sense of choreography and developed skills in dancing. Later on that year, he made his first stage performance at the college's winter concert. The following year, Jonathan moved to Dallas, Texas, where he began studying Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas, and graduated in 2009. That same year, he also began training with Fenton Fulgham and was a member of Elite-Ftroop Dance Team at Revelation Dance Studio. He worked with the choreographer of Step Up 3D, Jamal Simms during the Superbowl weekend in Dallas and opened for music artists Drake and Mystikal. He currently teaches and choreographs for dance competions. Jonathan’s influences also include Keith Green, Keith Clark, Jenny Durbin and many other choreographers.
